Design and Development of new Residential Land Subdivision surrounded by protected grassland and parks required great attention to detail.
The proposed subdivision will form an integral part of the overall development in the designated growth area.
Good Planning and Urban Design outcome included the conservation of significant grasslands and remnant trees. Complex issues of native vegetation retention were being determined and addressed to improve liveable environment of medium density developments in the vicinity.

Key design challenges within the project were in addressing open spaces surrounding the site. Provision of links to Quarry Hill Parks have influenced subdivision’s road layout design and connectivity with all interfaces.
The conservation of significant grasslands and mature trees generated additional design opportunities for increased residential densities to adjoining public open spaces.
The implementation of the planned road network demanded consultation with adjoining landholders to ensure that proposed road layouts functionally connect to each other.
